Dust If You Must - Scrapbookers Version, found on Jen Peck's blog...
Dust if you must, just don’t think I am!
I’ve got an album layed out and I’m working my plan.
In my own little corner, in my own little chair
Hey! Pass me the camera, I’ve a layout to share
Dust if you must … or fish … or do something!
Order in dinner, just you pick out something …
I just don’t have time for nuthin’ but scrappin’
And hey, did I tell you? I just started stampin’
Dust if you must, I’m in my scrapbook room
Why bother me? You know where’s the broom!
I have paper & markers & glitter & glue
Laundry? Cleaning? I’ll get back to you!
Dust if you must, I’m out the door
And while I’m gone, would you please sweep the floor?
I’m going to a crop, be back Sunday night
If I’m not back before dark, just leave on a light.
Dust if you must???? You’ve got to be kidding!!!
Who’s gonna see it? Or who’ll do that bidding?
All weekend he’s out, he’s fishin’ and campin’
And I’m at a crop, just scrappin’ and stampin’

Yikes, Tagged
By Kim.... so here are some random things about me!
Ten Years Ago: That would be 1998. We were living in Tucson, the boys were 2 and 4. So, pretty much we were exhausted! I was teaching at Mt View High School (math). Mike was an administrator at Emily Gray Jr High. We had three pekingese dogs and one Persian cat. Life was BUSY! We took the boys to parents night out at the church every Friday night. Then we went to Keaton's at the Foothills Mall and ate dinner at the bar. We went on our summer vacation down the right coast (Atlantic!). We had a blast!
Five Things on Today's To Do List: 1. Buy apples and bananas. 2. Take Aspen and Roxy to the vet. 3. Get brakes on Mike's car. 4. Mail July birthday cards (heck I should do August too these are soo darn late). 5. laundry
Snacks I enjoy: Chocolate, fruit... did I mention chocolate yet? Usually milk chocolate. I like yogurt too.... and chocolate. Fondue, anything dipped in chocolate... (is that a snack?)
Things I would do if I were a millionaire: First pay off debts... I can hardly imagine living in a mortgage free home! Hire a maid. Hire a cook. Hire a personal trainer. Hire a tutor for Alec (someone to be in charge of pushing him). Hire a groomer for the pets one day a week! (How cool would that be?) Buy a corvette (yes, a red one).
Places I have lived: New York, Arizona, California, Oregon
Who I tag: Lea, Diane, Linda, Janelle

July
I don't know if I love July, or hate July. Everyone is home. Everyone has demands on me. I don't feel like I can get time alone to create much. SO, again you are seeing some Bella ATC's (artist trading cards) that I slapped together. I feel behind, really behind. Maybe in August I can catch up, we'll see.
We went on a Willamette Jet Boat Excursion yesterday. It was amazing. It was fast, fun, furious... and a great tour from Portland to the Willamette Falls. It was just beautiful and informative. All four of us got soaked! After we went to dinner at the Old Spaghetti Company on the river. It was just a relaxing and fun family activity.
We aren't going anywhere since we will be going on the Mediterranean Cruise in the fall. But we did make reservations for three days at a hotel/water park. The kids will absolutely love it! I am excited too. Now to figure out what to do with the pets! But, I will save that for another day.
Beyond that we have a few plans to do a few more in town tourist activities. I know I haven't been posting, and I am not sure it will get any better any time soon. But I will be back in August. Hugs
